Location: Shanghai, Changshu to support launch activities
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of SQ Program Managers each responsible for different program
- Be an active member of the Program Management Team representing supplier quality.
o Be the point person for all communications with the program team
o Communicate issues from the Program Team back to appropriate SQ team member.
o Follow-up issues to ensure closure and report back progress to Program Team
o Manage data tracking tools to ensure updates are completed
o Manage the creation of progress reports and provide the program team with transparency of supply base readiness
o Understand program risk and clearly communicate supply chain risk to the Program Team
o Create and present supplier quality gate review documents
- Support the program through the product launch
o Be on site at Qoros assembly center for build events.
o Collect supplier quality issues, follow-up to ensure closure
o Recognize supply base risk and champion the mitigation of that risk
o Engage and transition the daily support to the on-site SQ team throughout the launch
- Lead a team of supplier development engineers
o Create, improve and maintain a supplier development process
o Ensure appropriate suppliers are engaged by the team
o Ensure the suppliers achieve appropriate quality maturity
o Engage supplier leadership as required for escalation
